CHATTOGRAM MAA-O-SHISHU HOSPITAL MEDICAL COLLEGE
Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital Medical College (CMOSHMC) is one of the top ranking private medical college in Bangladesh. It is approved by the Government of Bangladesh and is recognised by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC). The college is affiliated with University of Chittagong (2nd largest public University in Bangladesh).

The college was established in 2005 by Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital authority. It started functioning in 2006 with 50 students in MBBS Course. Now it has capacity to enroll 100 students in each session . Meanwhile different post graduate courses have been open which are approved and recognised by different competent authorities (BMDC, BCPS, BSMMU and others). The college has state of art facilities for teaching, training and services. Performance of students is praiseworthy. hey secure top positions in different professional examinations under University of Chittagong.

FACILITIES FOR TEACHING, TRAINING AND SERVICES
We have sufficient space (>3,00,000 sqft) for teaching, training and medical services. Lecture Halls, Tutorial rooms are well furnished and well equipped. Dissection halls, laboratories and museums are rich with teaching aids and instruments. We have a central library . Sufficient books and journals are there. Xerox and internet facilities are available. The Library is open from 8 AM to 10 PM. Over 100 students can use it at a time. Many departments have their own library. We have sufficient and competent teachers. Teacher-student ratio is 1:10.

We have a 600 bedded tertiary level hospital. All clinical departments are there. ICU, CCU, HDU, NICU, PICU, SDU Haemodyalysis, Peritoneal dyalysis facilities are available . Bed occupancy rate is >95% . We have one stop diagnostic services. The hospital is hugely subsidized and open for teaching, training and services.

ADMISSION

Admission fee for foreign Students (For SAARC Countries- Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, SriLanka, Bhutan, Maldive) are as follows. Fee structures for non-SAARC countries will be different.

Those who (Foreign Students) are interested to get admission in MBBS course, please visit DGHS : www.dghs.gov.bd . Foreign students may be admitted in this institute for session 2013-2014 following Government rules . They will be selected through oral examination. They must possess qualifications equivalent to SSC and HSC and obtain the similar result as specified
