Ibrahim Medical College is a private medical College in Bangladesh, established in 2002. The hospital was established in 1980 with the financial support of Bangladesh. At BIRDEM, 3,000 patients are treated in the outpatient department every day. No other hospital in Bangladesh or elsewhere treats so many diabetes patientsIt is located in the Shahbag district of Dhaka. It has another campus in Shegunbagicha. The college is affiliated with the Bangladesh Institute for Research and Rehabilitation of Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM), which is the world's largest medical organization for the treatment of diabetes. It is affiliated to the University of Dhaka as a constituent college.
